Wookstock II (July 1996) - Atlanta, GA

Atlanta.
Heh heh...Wookstock was so cool we decided to do it again. So we said "hey, Wookstock was so cool. Let's do it again". So we did.
There we were. I just got done running the Peachtree Road Race (a 10K run down in Atlanta on the 4th of July...ya think it was hot???) and people started coming in. Oh yeah, they came in droves.
Pure sarcasm I tell ya. Only a few die-hards came in. I guess being poor and just out of college had something to do with that for most people. Anyway, it basically ended up just drinking around the parent's house. Whereas we planned on another event similar to the first (had some land acquired in the north Georgia mountains for camping and music and such), we drank and played games in the back yard. My ex boss showed up and we grilled out and continued with the apple juice. A quick pilgrimage to Stone Mountain Park to watch fireworks. And then a limo (what in the hell is going on here???? Was this really Wookstock?) to take us around to the clubs. Boss paid, hey, we weren't complaining. Next day, there we were. Hey let's play more games and drink apple juice. Sounds good to me.

Oh wait, there was a hotel room in there somewhere I think.

Great, now I'm confused. A little help here!!!!
 




Is this Wookstock II? Hell no, but each and every year Wookstock gets closer to this.
